Andreas works as a meteorologist at the University of Cottbus. He studied physics and has been politically active for decades. He lives in a formerly occupied house and tries hard to make the world a bit better place. As a member of the association "Living under the same sun e.V." he is particularly interested in the educational topic.

Sylvia has been supporting the club since the very beginning. The fate of other people is a great concern of hers. Her creative and witty ideas have enriched many actions of Lutss e.V. Having raised many children herself, she is interested in alternative forms of education. Sylvia is a former nurse and today works with children in Berlin.

William studies computer science in Berlin and helps out whenever there is need. Whether fundraising in Mauerpark, face painting on May 1 or working at an information stall at the Berlin volunteering fair - he helps wherever he can. His motivation are the children in Nairobi, whom he wants to enable a school education.

Isabel is a founding member of the association and usually called Isi. In Berlin she did a bachelor in psychology and worked with retired people. Currently she is living in Wales, from where she supports LUTSS from the distance. During her years in Berlin she has enriched many of the association´s creative activities with music and ideas. Because the transparency of the association's work is of particular importance to her, she has taken on the task of writing the newsletter.

Fanny met Joyce Ziambo whilst traveling through Africa with Anna. From this encounter emerged the idea for the association. Back in Germany, Fanny was the driving force for the foundation. Over the following years she has been keeping track of all the activities of LUTSS. She keeps in contact with the Kenyan partners and takes care of the monthly donations and generally everything that comes up. Fanny studies psychology and works with children and pensioners in Berlin.

Anna met Joyce Ziambo whilst traveling through Africa with Fanny. From this encounter emerged the idea for the association. She was a founding member of the association, brings forward the political education work in Berlin and generally takes care of everything that comes up. Anna studies psychology and works with children in Berlin.

Peter lives in Kenya and keeps in touch with both local projects. He helps out whenever difficulties arise and takes care of contracts and official affairs. The family father works as a driver of construction vehicles and is very pleased to be able to help children out of difficult circumstances through his participation in the association.

Julius´ heart and soul are children in need. He is the father of four daughters and lives close to Nairobi. He earns his living with variable activities, but mainly by selling textbooks. Julius is strongly involved in a school that allows orphans free, quality education. To maintain this school, he has sold his entire possessions. We hope to be able to support this school in the future as well.
